Meet The Team
Our team is core to our mandate of providing extra support to those in our community who are aged/frail, or who have a disability, and wish to maintain their independence at home.
This not only includes our professional, qualified and experienced personal support staff, but also our quality management team. We have a great team of qualified and highly skilled managers, team leaders, and support co-ordinators that adhere to best practice policies in delivering personalised, quality support outcomes to all our clients across Adelaide and its regions. This team also brings many years of industry experience, expertise, and quality management to all aspects of our service delivery.
By assessing our clients’ individual needs, support requirements, cultural, linguistic, personality, and personal requests, our management team can ensure that they match each client to staff members that best contribute to the desired outcomes.
Managing Director
Our Managing Director, Marilyn Kennedy provides daily executive control and operational management. She leads the business in its mission to become the preferred supplier of entry-level support services to both the public and private sectors of South Australia.
Marilyn was also responsible for the adoption of the attitudes to “get it right the first time” and “on-time is the right time”, which has led to Gleam Team gaining preferred supplier status across Adelaide and metropolitan regions.
She also implemented Quality Management Systems to assist the business in continuing to deliver the quality services now and into the future.
Operations Manager
Lee-Anne Humphreys is responsible for overseeing the co-ordination and scheduling of duties to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard in a prompt manner.
Her role also covers co-ordination of the Quality Systems and she is available to assist staff at all times to ensure the highest quality of service is achieved.
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Lee-Anne and she is available at any time to attend to any unforeseen problems or queries which may arise.
Lee-Anne provides support to our employees regarding Occupational Health and Safety Policies which are set in place.
Home Assist Co-ordinators
Our home assistance co-ordinators, allocate services and ensure that all work has been completed to the highest standards. They also ensure an amicable transmission of services and effective communication between our clients and home support staff and the rest of the team.
Detailed records are also maintained on each individual service user, incorporating information about the service user, their level of service and staff who are providing the service.
Support staff
Our support/care staff are available across metropolitan Adelaide and have current police checks and DCSI clearances for working in aged care, disability and venerable persons sectors.
Our staff are trained in relation to the Home Care Standards, and undertake ongoing training on the aspects and skills needed to deliver quality personalised support for healthy aging, maintaining independence and promoting wellness.
